Speech, Language & Occupational Therapy

Our Speech and Language Therapy (SaLT) and Occupational Therapy (OT) teams support your child to communicate, connect and take part in everyday life.

  • SaLT is about communication in all its forms, not just speech.
We support children to express themselves in whatever way works for them, including gestures, signs, symbols or communication devices. Every child has a voice, even if they don’t use words.

  • OT helps children develop the skills they need for daily life, such as dressing, eating, regulating emotions and managing sensory needs, so they can feel more comfortable, confident and independent.

  • Our teams work closely together, providing joined-up support that sees the whole child, not just one area of need.
