Quality of Life

Improving Quality of Life (QoL) is embedded in our Foundation's ethos and culture and is driven by our mantra of ‘becoming the best you can be’. We have a focused and targeted approach designed to improve the quality of life for all staff and students. There is a QoL leadership team with representatives from across all areas to drive the purpose and implementation across the whole Foundation.

Quality of Life Hour

Quality of Life Hour is a dedicated time set aside each week to support the wellbeing of both our students and staff across the Foundation. It recognises that feeling good, staying active, and having space to reset are essential parts of a positive and productive environment.

As shown in the video on this page, these sessions bring people together through a range of activities designed to boost physical health, mental wellbeing, and social connection. Whether it’s taking part in sport, trying something new, or simply having time to unwind, Quality of Life Hour is about creating balance in the day.
