School and Sixth Form

We want our uniform to help our students feel comfortable, confident and ready for the day ahead. That is why we updated our uniform to make it more practical, inclusive and better suited to everyday school life. This is especially important for pupils with sensory needs, who may find certain fabrics, fastenings, fits or formal shoes uncomfortable or distracting.

Our uniform

Research shows that more traditional uniforms can sometimes restrict movement and comfort, while simpler, more flexible clothing helps children feel more at ease, more active and more ready to learn.

A more comfortable uniform can help reduce anxiety, support regulation and allow students to focus more fully on their learning and the wider opportunities school life offers.

This change reflects our commitment to putting students first and making sure every child feels included, supported and able to take part fully in school life.
