Careers Service

We provide a comprehensive careers education linked to curriculum pathways and dedicated sessions. Students engage with employers through events, workplace visits, and assemblies. With support from CK Careers, students and families receive impartial advice to prepare for life after college. Opportunities include career fairs, workshops, and work experience. Our employability skills program ensures students gain valuable experiences through jobs, with the support of the Gatsby Benchmarks. Students are prepared to transition confidently into university, apprenticeships, or vocational paths, equipped with skills for future success.

About our careers service

We meet Samuel Webster, who tells us about the careers advice he has received whilst being at College.

Work Experience

Our students meet with our Careers Lead and an Independent Careers Advisor (C&K) to explore their future ambitions. These conversations shape a personalised career pathway, which is then built directly into their timetable.

Our students gain valuable qualifications in First Aid, Manual Handling, and CSCS certification, all of which strengthen their prospects for future employment. These achievements equip them with practical, work‑ready skills that employers actively look for, giving them a strong foundation as they move toward their chosen careers.
